 PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

 Responsible for the installation and maintenance of power line carriers (PLCs) and all HF, VHF and UHF radio equipment in NamPower.

 KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Install PLC systems in new and existing substations
• Replace PLC systems in existing substations
• Install mobile and fixed radios
• Replace mobile and fixed radios
• Routine maintenance on all PLC systems in the NamPower system
• Routine maintenance on all existing mobile and fixed radios in the NamPower system
• Routine maintenance of aircraft warning lights on all NamPower radio towers

 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

• A Diploma in Electronic Engineering (NQF level 6)

• Valid Code B driving license
• A minimum of one (1) year relevant experience

• Relevant SAP modules

• Basic First Aid knowledge
